She has a trach, ventilator, g tube, and uses wheelchair. She receives all of her care at Cincinnati Children's hospital where she was finally correctly diagnosed about four years ago.

Her condition is so rare that the only specialist who does any research on it is at Mayo Clinic. Jerrica has been seen there twice and takes a research drug they developed to allow her to move her muscles. She has had hundreds of hospital admissions and well over 40 surgical procedures.

Throughout everything she continues to smile, and have a wonderfully charming personality. She's sassy and mischievous and full of life.
