COUNTDOWN TO OSER-ROTH

With the location change, of course, there will be changes.  Here are some of the changes and what will stay the same this year.

What’s different this year:

• The date has changed. For the past 17 years, we’ve held the party on the last Saturday in July. This year, it will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
• This year’s event is one day only. The party will be on Saturday, and there will be no Friday pre-event activities.
• There will be a firm end time. The event begins at noon and ends at midnight, in accordance with City of Lawrenceburg requirements.
• We won’t be serving the large meal offered in past years, but food will still be available. We’ll have burgers, hot dogs, brats, metts, desserts, pizza, and other favorites. Food and drinks will be available all day, starting at noon!
• Beer and seltzer will be available for purchase. Because of the venue’s alcohol license, we can no longer offer them for free, but prices will be kept low.
• No outside alcohol is permitted. This is a requirement of the alcohol license. If you bring alcohol with you, you’ll be asked to return it to your vehicle.
• There will not be a lake available for swimming this year, so please plan ahead for the summer heat.
• There will also be no water slide this year.
• We will have more inflatables for the kids to enjoy during the day. We will have attendants there to help ensure the fun is safe, but we still will need the assistance of the parents to keep their children safe.
• Guests may come and go during the fireworks.
• Camping is not permitted, whether by tent or camper. The only exception is for invited individuals who are working on the event.
• Outside golf carts, side-by-sides, and other personal vehicles are not permitted. Mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs are still welcome.

• The event itself is still free.
• You can still look forward to many of the same activities, fundraising opportunities, live music all day long, and angel presentations.
• We’ll still have fireworks, because we love big booms too!
• Alcohol policy:

1. Anyone consuming alcohol must be at least 21 years old, as required by Indiana law. IDs will be checked, and underage drinking will not be permitted.
2. Parents may not provide alcohol to underage children. There are no exceptions to this rule, and anyone doing so will be asked to leave the premises.
3. Anyone under 21 who is found consuming alcohol will be asked to leave the premises immediately. There are no exceptions to this rule.

• Please bring your own chairs so you have a comfortable place to sit.
• Pop-up tents (easy-ups) are welcome, but they must be taken down during the fireworks.
• Only professionals from Yokum Fireworks and affiliated organizations are authorized to possess or use fireworks on-site. There are no exceptions.
• No outside intoxicating substances are permitted on the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds property. Violators will be reported to on-site authorities and asked to leave. If underage use is involved, authorities will be notified.
